Phil Gornell is a producer, Songwriter,  mixer and engineer based between Los Angeles, USA and the UK. He’s best known for his ambitious combinations of pop, alternative and rock music that you can hear across his cuts, productions and mixes.

This year he’s been working extensively with All Time Low, with 7 cuts on their top 10 record, Wake Up Sunshine, including the single Some Kind of Disaster. Recently signed to Kassner publishing, he’s been writing with a diverse set of collaborators, spanning pop to metal and everything in between, on both sides of the Atlantic and beyond.

Phil is also the owner/proprietor of the renowned recording studio Steel City, based in Sheffield, England. Over the course of his career he’s worked with Bring Me The Horizon (including recent single, Ludens), 5 Seconds of Summer, Against the Current and You Me At Six.
